Logistics Health Incorporated (LHI) has named Anne Finch company CEO, effective January 1, 2018. Finch joined LHI in May of 2014 as Chief Information Officer (CIO). She has worked for Optum, parent company of LHI, since October of 2010.
Finch brings a wealth of professional experience in the field of Information Technology and Organizational Development to the role, which will provide her with valuable insight, according to company Founder and Chairman Don Weber. “Technology is the engine that drives the services LHI provides,” Weber said. “Anne’s in-depth understanding of the technological challenges and opportunities in this industry will ensure the company remains agile, always ready to forge innovative solutions to better serve the men and women who serve our country.”
“I am honored to be selected to lead LHI into the future of health care for our nation’s heroes,” Finch said. “LHI and Optum have a bright future here in Wisconsin, as evidenced by the growth of more than 800 jobs at LHI in 2017 alone. That growth is driven by the high quality services LHI provides the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Defense.”
“The high quality of life in this community makes it possible for us to provide these essential services at a level that is unmatched. Because this is a great place to live, and because we have quality institutions of higher education here, we are able to recruit and retain the talent we need to serve those who have served our nation. This community enables the future of LHI, and we remain committed to supporting this community.” Finch said.
Company Founder and former CEO Don Weber will continue to serve as Chairman of OptumServe, a division of Optum that includes LHI, which specializes in providing health care services to military and Veterans.
Prior to serving as CIO at LHI, Finch was Vice President of UnitedHealth Group Solution Support Services, where she oversaw a team of 1,500 IT professionals around the world. Finch has nearly 35 years of broad-based experience in Information Technology and Organizational Development, at US Bank, St. Jude Medical, Assurant, Fortis, HealthPartners, Arthur Andersen, MedVision, MedPower and MidWest Federal.
